50 Years of Success and Counting!
This year we’re excited to be celebrating our 50th anniversary. It was in 1964 that our grandparents, Wayne and Rena Ogle, purchased the then small 10-unit motel. Since that time the Mountain Breeze Motel has been growing under the watchful eyes of their sons, James David and Wayne Dale Ogle.
Great Customer Service
Today with 71 rooms, 4 generations are guaranteeing that guests who visit the Mountain Breeze Motel have a wonderful vacation. At 97 years old, Mrs. Rena still drops by to ensure that the girls are ‘running the motel the way she taught them’. Current co-owner Mrs. James David (Sue Jane) Ogle looks after providing a special brand of hospitality, thus making sure all guests feel right at home. Mrs. Rena’s granddaughters, Suzy and Jama, handle the daily operations. And their children Alex, Andrea, and Katlin are in training for the next 50 years.
We measure our success not in dollars but rather by the number of happy customers that return and refer us to their friends and family. And with 70-75% of our customers being repeat customers, we feel we’re doing something right. We see our regular customers more often than we see some of our family members, so our customers have become our huge extended family.
Our success can be attributed to our top-notch staff. Most of our staff has been with us for 10+ and some 20+ years. The pride they take in their job is a major key to our success. Their friendly, helpful personalities make them a real asset. We’re truly blessed to have each and every one of them.
